Custom Couture
One of one, by design.
Bespoke at ONERA is not a size adjustment — it is a garment that exists because you asked for it. Designed from a blank page, embroidered by hand, fitted to you and finished to be kept.

What Bespoke Means
Designed around a person, not a pattern.
We begin with how you want to feel — then work backwards through silhouette, fabric, embroidery and fit. Nothing is templated; nothing is repeated.
- Personal design consultation with Gauri
- Original sketches and fabric sourcing
- Hand embroidery by master karigars
- Toile and multiple fittings for a precise fit
- Heirloom-grade finishing, inside and out
- A final styling session before the occasion
The Process
Four movements.
A considered path from first conversation to the finished garment.

The Consultation
We begin with your story — the occasion, the venue, the people, the feeling. We discuss silhouettes, references and the heirlooms you may wish to carry into the design.

Design & Draping
Sketches are developed and fabrics sourced — silks, organzas, tulles and brocades. Drapes are pinned on the stand to study movement before a single stitch is sewn.

Hand Embroidery
Karigars bring the design to life through zari, dabka, sequin and mirror work. Every motif is placed by hand; every border is worked to a considered rhythm.

Fittings & Finishing
Two to three fittings refine the fit to the millimetre. Linings, cancan, hooks and finishing are completed by hand for a garment that sits perfectly.
Inside the Atelier
Where it comes together.
Cutting tables, pattern paper, shade cards and swatches — the quiet tools behind every ONERA garment.
